Are you open year round?No. Our venue is an open air barn and will be closed for the months of December, January, and February.

What does the payment schedule look like?$1,000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to reserve space 1st 50% due (minus deposit) 4 mo. prior to event with the remaining 50% due 14 days prior All payments must be made online through the invoice provided via email. A 3.5% charge added to those using credit cards NOTE: the timing that payments are due is subject to change based on your specific date 10% discount for CASH payments

What are the rules when serving alcohol?NO outside alcohol allowed; Comply with NC ABC requirements for alcohol use. Must use only BCC bartending services. Price based on number of guests. Must purchase Beer and/or Wine via BCC Decisions for Alcohol must be made at least 4 mo. prior to rental If Liquor is wanted - the client will be required to pay a $1,000 fee and get a special one day ABC Permit to have liquor onsite - client will be responsible to the purchase of liquor and mixers for drinks & supply it to the bartending service team 24 hrs prior to the event. https://www.abc.nc.gov/permits-audit/general-permit-information/limited-special-occasion-and-special-one-time-permit-information

What are the other rules we have to follow?No cooking on site- Must have Food trucks or Licensed Caterer No real candles due to fire hazard No glitter, confetti, released balloons, or rice Noise Ordinance is 10:30 PM - all music must shut down NO outside alcohol MUST stay out of and away from pasture- cows get spooked as this is a working farm Smoking ONLY allowed outside & cigarette butts must NOT be in the yard/ grass ($500 clean up fine) ALL trash MUST be disposed in the dumpster All items brought in must be removed immediately after the EVENT.

What is the cost for the BCC bar service & beverages?THIS PRICING DOES NOT INCLUDE THE COST FOR ALCOHOL (alcohol price list available upon request) If client is including liquor, there will be an additional $1,000 fee. Pricing for bar service depends on the number of guests you have Pricing is for 5 hour service $600 - MAX 100 guests $750 - 101-150 guests $950 - 151 -200 guests If you will have more guests than 200 we will need to discuss and get a quote for you! NOTE: All non-alcoholic beverages will need to be supplied by the caterer.

I am hosting a private event what are my responsibilities?You are required to have a Event Coordinator Your Event Coordinator will be in charge of the scheduling and managing of vendors as BCC only provides the venue. Must obtain Special Event Insurance. Comply with NC ABC requirements for alcohol use Manage setup & breakdown of decorations Ensure all trash is disposed of in the dumpster onsite

YES except for Furniture and Fixtures (COOKE RENTALS) and/or Bar Service (BCC BAR SERVICE) We do require that all vendors are seasoned professionals that carry liability insurance (copies must be provided to BCC for record) You will also have to provide their COI and business information
